The AQPV would like to thank the Ministère de la Justice du Québec for funding this training session, which aims to raise awareness of the changes to the Quebec compensation system for victims of criminal offences following the coming into force, on October 13, 2021, of the Act to Assist Victims of Criminal Offences and Promote Their Recovery (LAPVIC) and its Regulations.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

✅ provide accurate, up-to-date information to victims and their families
✅ help victims and their families better understand the financial assistance and programs that, under certain conditions, are provided for in the LAPVIC and its implementing regulations
