Why become a member?

  • To join a network of more than 200 members (individuals and organizations) concerned with the issue of victims of criminal offences and drawn from the community, justice, public safety, health, social services, education and research sectors.
  • To encourage the development of training and information tools that meet the needs of victims, their families and the professionals who work with them.
  • To keep abreast of legislative changes and the development of services that affect victims and their families

How do I become a member?

Plaidoyer Victimes has three categories of membership: individual members, associative members and partner members. Annual membership, valid for 12 months, runs from April 1 to March 31.

  • Anyone who supports Plaidoyer Victimes’ mission, objectives and values.
  • Individual members agree to abide by the rules and regulations of Plaidoyer Victimes and to pay the annual dues established for this category of member.
  • Individual members have the right to speak and vote at general meetings, receive member publications and have access to member privileges.
  • Annual membership fee: $30.00
  • Any local, regional, national or international non-profit association or community organization that subscribes to Plaidoyer Victimes’ mission, objectives and values.
  • Associate members agree to abide by the rules and regulations of Plaidoyer Victimes and to pay the annual membership fee established for this category of member.
  • Associate members, through their delegate, have the right to speak and vote at general meetings, receive member publications and have access to member privileges.
  • Annual membership fee: $100.00
  • Partner members are governmental and paragovernmental organizations, professional associations and private corporations that adhere to the mission, objectives and values underlying Plaidoyer Victimes’ actions.
  • Partner members agree to abide by the rules and regulations of Plaidoyer Victimes and to pay the annual dues established for this category of member.
  • Partner members may participate in Plaidoyer Victimes’ activities and attend general meetings, but do not have voting rights and are not eligible to become directors of Plaidoyer Victimes. They receive member publications and have access to member privileges.
  • Annual membership fee: $150.00

Renewal

Renewal of your Plaidoyer Victimes membership is available from February 1.
