Awareness
Plaidoyer Victimes shares and disseminates knowledge about victimization by organizing awareness-raising activities on various issues. Our activities are aimed not only at those working with victims of crime, but also at the victims themselves, their families and the general public.
Information
Plaidoyer Victimes produces information tools for victims and their families to help them obtain support and reparation, and exercise their rights and remedies. Our tools are also of interest to anyone working closely or remotely with victims. Plaidoyer Victimes also refers victims and their loved ones to specialized services and programs that can provide the help, support and advice they need.
Training
Plaidoyer Victimes offers training courses for those who work with victims, delivered by trainers with recognized expertise in their field. She also designs e-learning activities. These training courses aim to develop skills in various areas, such as victimization and its impact, the needs of victims and their families, and legal support for victims.
Social mobilization
Communications
Plaidoyer Victimes communicates with its vast network of members and partners to spur them into action and rally them around issues that concern the rights of victims. Whether through our newsletter, websites, social networks or traditional media, our communications also engage and mobilize the community, keeping us abreast of legislative changes, service development and victimology news.
Participation in collective events and actions
Plaidoyer Victimes publicizes and promotes its demands through events and collective actions that it initiates or participates in. It puts forward its positions in various forums and encourages its members and the public to support it in its fight for better recognition and exercise of the rights of victims.

Plaidoyer Victimes analyzes bills, policies and regulations to assess their impact on the rights and remedies of victims of criminal offences. Her activism takes the form of writing opinions and briefs for various bodies in Quebec and Canada, helping to improve legislation and practices in a number of areas.
Consultation and representation
Plaidoyer Victimes expresses its point of view during consultations and makes representations to various provincial and national authorities. These are all opportunities to share our expertise and defend the collective rights and interests of victims of criminal offences.
Representation
Consultation and partnerships
Plaidoyer Victimes develops and maintains ties with a range of organizations by sitting on decision-making bodies or actively participating in regional, provincial and national roundtables, committees and working groups. These spaces are key to advancing victims’ rights.
Collaborations
Plaidoyer Victimes meets with leading contributors who occupy strategic positions within ministries, courts, organizations and authorities that have obligations towards victims and their loved ones. These initiatives enable us to present or advance our projects, share our concerns and discuss various issues.
